DEW, Rose BlossomDew, Rose Blossom, 102, of Salem, entered into her heavenly home on Friday, September 2, 2005 with her family by her side. She was born in Wilmington, N.C. on February 7, 1903. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband, Caldwell T. Dew and a daughter, Beverly Dew Smith of Utah. Left to cherish her wonderful memories is her son, Gene (Bubba) Dew and wife, Pat of Salem; daughters, Rosemary Blanchard of Charlotte, N.C. and Barbara Craft of Roanoke. She is survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Rose was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and dearly loved her extended church family. The family would like to thank all the wonderful nurses and staff of the Oaks at Richfield who loved her like family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 4, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Temple Baptist Church in Wilmington, N.C. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by John M.
